Saving the Barn at MSU Bozeman
MSU students saved the 1926 barn slated for razing by converting it into an activities center. The Save Our Barn club led by Jack Walton mobilized volunteers from MSU Veterans' Organization Agriculture Club and others to remodel the structure into meeting and recreation space with limited funds. The project fostered campus pride and changed attitudes toward student initiatives.
