The Crop Reseal Program lets Montana farmers reseal farm stored 1955 crop wheat under price support loans through March 31, 1957. Kolstad says producers can convert purchase agreements into reseal loans, store requirements stay aligned with the 1955 program, and storage payments follow Uniform Grain Storage rates. Qualified wheat must meet FDA quality standards and avoid contamination or condensate penalties. resealed grain remains on farm as loan security. Farmers should contact their county ASC office before March 31, 1956 to apply.

Auto Accident Involves Local Officials Injured
Mrs. Charles Peck wife of Cheteau Bulldogs coach and Cheteau Schools superintendent Ed Schiller were injured in a head-on collision on U S Highway 91 between the Evergreen Cafe and Conrad city limits Friday night. Schiller drove the car and suffered knee injuries. Peck sustained a facial wound and eye injuries from shattered glass. They were treated at Conrad hospital and Teton Memorial hospital respectively. Schiller remained hospitalized until Wednesday.

George L Cook Funeral Held Last Tuesday
Funeral services were held at Trinity Lutheran church for George Lawrence Cook 6. Rev A B Grandal officiated. Cook died Saturday of a self inflicted gunshot wound. He was born April 24 1891 in Reno Nebraska and came to Choteau county in 1903. He served in World War I and belonged to the American Legion. He is survived by three brothers Tim Omer and Thomas. Pallbearers included Howard Koch William Irwin Homer Rowland Charles Purkett Ben Chalmers and O B Neckstad. Burial was in the Legion plot at Choteau cemetery.
