Boxer E. J. Shelton Released on Bonds
E. J. Shelton a noted boxer was released on $500 bonds by Justice of the Peace C A Wilson after being brought from Pendray to face a charge of issuing a worthless check. Shelton was jailed on complaint by B B Baker who says the December 14 1927 check for 200 drawn on Pendray Farmers State Bank lacked sufficient funds. He was returned to Great Falls by Deputy Sheriff C C Johnson.
