New FSA Home Supervisor Named for Teton and Cascade
Mrs. Alice Gagner has been appointed home supervisor for the Farm Security Administration in Teton and Cascade counties. She toured the area this week and will base headquarters in Great Falls with an office in the Larson building in Teton County. The Cascade appointment shifts to Robert Lindh, who will handle Cascade county alone, effective after July 1.

First Wool of Season Leaves Choteau on Monday
The first 1938 wool shipment left Choteau as trains resumed service on Monday. Two cars bought by Phill Cole for Dewey Gould & Co of Boston carried wool from Earl Yeager and others in Simms. Prices ranged around 16 to 17 cents. Don Wilson reported 20 cents for a fine light clip. Weather delays hindered operations. Coffey Bros and Paul Kropp note ongoing shearing but standstill until conditions improve.

The 10 cent Martha Washington stamp issued May 5 features a marble bust sculpted by Mrs. Lt. McDonald Sleeth, sister of C S McDonald of this city, and housed in Memorial Centennial Hall, DAR headquarters. The bust, a white marble likeness, was previously exhibited in Washington and Laguna Beach.

Kemp Chevrolet Co to Take Over Wallace Motor in Choteau
The Kemp Chevrolet Co will on Friday assume the Wallace Motor Co garage and auto business in Choteau becoming the Chevrolet dealer for the area. L H Kemp Kempton, new president and manager, will live in Choteau with his wife at the Glen Loyd. Leonard Larson will head the parts department. The Wallace firm, organized in 1933 by Shirley Wallace, shifts focus to Northwest Refining Co. and Grizzly station.

Brewers Aid to Retailers Under Investigation
The enforcement division of the state liquor control board will immediately probe reports that brewers furnished Montana retailers with fixtures and equipment. Administrator L. M. A. Wass announced the move, saying the practice violates the state beer act and that retailers accepting such assistance risk license revocation.

Three Teton Youths to Enter the CCC Service
Three youths from Teton county will join the Civilian Conservation Corps in the July enrollment. They depart Chateau July 14 at 7 30 a m for Great Falls where they are checked in and examined before heading to a conditioning camp. The July quota is full, with a larger October quota likely.

State Purchases Refunding Bonds and Waterworks Bonds
State Land Commissioner Nanita J. Sherlock announces the purchase of 32000 in refunding bonds from Browning school district at four percent interest. Accidental gunshot kills Greenfield boy at age three
A three year old Greenfield boy died after a .22 revolver fired by his brother injured his brain and spine. The accident occurred at the family home last Wednesday. Funeral services were held at the Methodist church with Rev. R. F. Vick presiding.
