Eighth Sunriver project picnic celebrates with games and races
The eighth annual Sunriver project picnic and celebration will be at Fairfield July 16 and 17 with an evening program July 16 including a North Montana Fair film and a 1930s wildlife and comedy reel. A 10:30 a.m. picnic July 17 offers a baseball game between project 4-H and Fairfield Junior Legion, followed by concerts, races, horse events, and prize awards. Proceeds fund a North Montana State fair booth.

Fourth of July Celebration Shines Despite Rain
