Henry Kregness and Miss Fredona Walker, both of this city, were united in marriage at a ceremony performed on Saturday, June 13, at the M. E. church parsonage by Rev. Edwin Dover. Attending were Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Kregness, the groom’s brother and sister-in-law. The bride, daughter of Ax and Mrs. Walker, grew up locally and attended Teton County High School. Henry, son of Ole and Mrs. Kregness, has long resided in Capteau and works for the Great Northern railroad on the Choteau Power section. They now live in the Hobson addition.

Pool Debuts Prove Popular With Rural Bathers
The county pool saw 228 bathers yesterday as free admissions were offered for the Farmers Union picnic. The pool will be drained, cleaned, and refilled, reopening Saturday. Women’s swimming classes start in July with registration at the pool office. Boys and girls 5 to 8 will also train, and a late July swimming meet with prizes is planned. Tennis courts remain busy with season tickets urged for upcoming tournaments. The men’s progressive tournament starts early next week.

Sam Sinclair, Local Resident, Dies at 68
Sam Sinclair aged 68, longtime resident with French and Indian lineage, died Tuesday at Chateau Hospital after a lingering illness. His home was in the south end of town. Funeral services were held this morning at Roberts Funeral Home with interment in Chateau Cemetery. Survivors are listed.

Musical talent of a high degree appeared Monday evening at the high school auditorium as Mrs. Millard S Butterdick presented Miss Harriet Holmes assisted by Miss Geraldine Moulton in a piano recital. Holmes played nine selections from memory, classics by Chopin Macdowell and Brahms, with a final two piano number by Holmes and Moulton. Tap dances by pupils of Mrs Calvin Wixom of Bynum featured during intermission with Clarice Knudtzon at the piano.
