Zion Opens Teton Trail Museum Adds Exhibits and Gallery
Mr and Mrs Bob Zion and artist Elmer Schock add two extensions to the Teton Trail Museum for a second summer. Exhibits include Model T and Model A cars, a new hanging exhibit with the jail door and hood, and a converted one room log cabin gallery. The museum drew about 22 000 visitors last summer over 72 days and is open daily 10 am to 9 pm.

July Fourth Committees Work Toward Action Packed Holidays
Choteau prepares a four day Fourth of July weekend with a Thursday July 3 Quarter Horse Show at the Rodeo Grounds and a funded fireworks display. Donors have stepped forward, but chairs urge more gifts to complete the two thirds target. Parade entries are encouraged as prizes are offered by the American Legion and Chamber of Commerce. The Chateau Jaycees host a city park beef barbecue before rodeo events at 2 p.m.

Twelve Teton County graduates were among 1 334 at the University of Montana 72nd commencement on Sunday June 15. Degrees included 1 034 bachelor’s 231 master’s and 22 doctorates. UM President Pantzer spoke as graduates gathered in the Harry Adams Field House.

Alma Jacobs head librarian at Great Falls Public Library urged Choteau citizens to form a Friends of the Library group at a Tuesday meeting.
