Decoration Day services were held at the Ferris family grave on Burton Beach. Col John C Ferris led the ceremony with a flag, garland and poem, as relatives including Mrs Waterman and Mrs H K Ferris placed flags and flowers. Taps was played by Bull and Lutz, marking the close of the event.

Coroner returns from Browning to hold inquest into the June 11 rear end collision that killed two railroad crewmen, Lewis B. Stallion Registration Board of Montana announces Dr W J Hartman will inspect stallions today and tomorrow for soundness and disease. Miss Mabel Cowell comes home Saturday from Missoula where she attended the state university for a year. The Teton group at the university including Archie Leech Florence Leech and Emmet Ryan have also returned to Dupuyer.
Mrs Chas LaBreche was elected as a delegate to the national convention of the Women's League in St. Louis last week but failed to attend after transportation arrangements by the League proved incorrect and she did not reach the event.
Principal Toan of the county high school was re-elected to his present position at a board meeting held last Saturday. Miss Sprague of Minnesota was chosen as Latin English and elocution teacher. Prof. Toan plans to leave next Wednesday to become traveling representative for a Chicago text book company, staying away all summer with a territory likely in Montana.
