Pendroy booster R Larson announced Larson's Day for Pendroy on a June Saturday with events from 10 am baseball to evening dance. A parade, bucking contests, feet races, horse races and more are planned. Daily attractions include 125 dollars in merchandise giveaways and a 100 pound sack of flour for the largest attending family.

Fisher Decides to Remain in Choteau and Extend Business
H Fisher of the Teton Service Company and J M Baker Elevator will not leave Choteau. He cites an unfavorable Pacific coast outlook but says Montana offers advantages and plans to expand the service station with a hydraulic lift and natural gas. The Fishers have moved to the O Hansen home, selling their previous house to Dr H W Bateman.

Forest Fire Risk Rises in Lewis and Clark Region
Supervisor W E Lockhart reports the Lewis and Clark forest growing dry, mainly in the south, though closing to campers not yet needed. Richfield Company To Open Its Modern Station Saturday
Richfield announces the new service station in this city will open next Saturday. EP L. Kueck, manager, says the building is complete and accept ed from contractor Joe Knudt zon of Chateau. The facility features Bowser meter pumps, electric rear pumping, 80 gallons a minute transfer from railroad cars to two 15,000 gallon tanks, a car air lift, concrete wash rack, hot and cold water, and full quarters for the manager and wife. The brick and tile structure will be brightly lighted with 14 lights per side. The station will also offer auto accessories but no tires.

Hogs Spell Money To Thirteen Teton Farmers
Ninety eight head of hogs raised by thirteen Teton county farmers increased county wealth and farmers bank accounts to 1717.75 in shipments through the Teton County Shipping association. The hogs went to BoDine Clark company of Portland Oregon at 7.50 to 11.25 per hundredweight with net weight 18192 pounds and shipping costs 0.9525 per hundred pounds. The Chateau Lions mark their third charter anniversary with a dinner dance and program at Twin Lakes. Local Lions and guests from Shelby Conrad Cut Bank Cascade and Great Falls attended. The club started in spring 1927 and received its charter in June that year with R. E. Nelson as temporary president and George Tennant as first secretary. The club has grown to a 35 member quota and has sponsored community events and engaged in charity work.

Western Electric delays push Choteau theater talkies to about August 20 from July 7. The Royal theater will run a summer schedule until then with dark days Tuesday through Thursday and two daily changes a week. A $10,000 talking equipment upgrade and expert installation are planned.

Burglarize Pendroy Depot Causes Investigation
The Great Northern depot at Pendroy was burglarized last Friday night. Stolen goods valued at hundreds of dollars, received that day for the Eckel Mercantile company. Detectives Kief and Nicholson of the railroad company and Undersheriff J. L. Billings investigated but no clue has been found.
