Ashes Placed in Sun River Plot
The ashes of Mrs. Ella Loomis 68 formerly of Chateau were placed in the Loomis burial plot at Sun River this week. George T. Loomis her son of Yakima attended the funeral services at Keith Chapel on May 28. Cremation followed. Her husband Hiram Loomis died years ago at Great Falls. They had lived at Chee before moving to Great Falls. She was daughter of Pete Trude an early white settler in the Chateau region around 1870 who once owned the Truchot Stuper ranch.

Funeral services for Marcus Ulland 39 of Dutton were held at Bethany Lutheran Dutton with Rev A Bernard Gravdal officiating. He born December 1 1915 Mayville North Dakota and married Marion Maegaard in 1939. He worked in Moline Illinois and at Farmers Elevator Dutton. He survived by wife son parents two brothers and two sisters. Burial followed at Mayville North Dakota.

Plane Destroyed On Spraying Job Near Levnstown
John Mamuzich of this city narrowly escaped injury when his spraying plane crashed 30 miles west of Levnstown while over wheat fields owned by Fred Malcou. The aircraft struck a power line, toppled five poles, and burned. The plane valued at seven thousand dollars.
