Château Couple Wed in Pretty Dutton Ceremony
Miss Marguerite Vaughn became the wife of Arnold C. Hanusa in a ceremony at the Schabel home in Dutton. The event featured music by local performers, a flower girl, and a breakfast reception for about 45 guests. The bride, a music department head at Teton County High School, and the groom, an accountant and aspiring CPA, will reside in Chateau after June 6.

A large crowd attended Chateau public school eighth grade graduation held in the high school auditorium. Miss Ruby Miller directed the exercises with Rev Father Schulte and Rev Kaemmer present. Class president Frederick Meadows introduced speakers and the girls chorus and cantata "Spring Cometh" closed the program.

Chateau business men select Saturday June 11 at 2 p m for a public wedding. A drawing chose the couple from five applicants, identities kept secret to all but the drawing committee. Gifts, committee of women, and a postwar dance follow the ceremony with American Legion supervision and trading indements announced.

Memorial Day Observances At Choteau Post
Memorial Day activities at Choteau honored war dead under Cho Teau Post auspices with Harold DePue as speaker. A large turnout filled a beautified cemetery as flags were placed on 30 veterans graves. A parade formed at the court house led by Rollie Ferris with color guards, then moved to the cemetery for the program, taps, and Gettysburg address.
