Webb Garrahan, formerly of Cascade, moved his trailer house museum to Chateau just north of the Bella Vista Motel. The collection spans Plains Indian artifacts, pre history fossils, and agate jewelry handmade by Garrahan. The museum is open to residents and visitors with no admission fee.

Funeral Rites For T. Radcliffe At Fairfield
Thomas J. Radcliffe 66 of Fairfield died Sunday in a Great Falls hospital after a two week stay. Requiem Mass was held at St. John the Evangelist Church in Fairfield with burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery. He is survived by his wife Sadie, two sons James and Terry, a sister and six grandchildren. He served on the Teton County ASCS committee and six years on the Fairfield school board.

Montana athletes from 36 schools and 31 communities competed at the eighth Montana Junior Olympics in Choteau on May 28. Les Olson set a 13 ft 234 in Montana pole vault record, Mark Nicholls improved the triple jump mark to 41 ft 478 in, Dave Smith won the 120 yard high hurdles in 15.1 seconds, and Gary Kimmel triple jumped 39 ft 8 in to best the previous mark. Choteau High School Vocational Agriculture students joined a pioneering Flying Classroom tour on May 22. Sponsored by the Montana Aeronautics Association and the State Department of Public Instruction, the air trip showcased local conservation efforts from Eureka Reservoir to Bynum and Farming ton areas, with stops highlighting water distribution, land leveling, drainage, and windbreaks.

Five Shelby residents were injured Friday evening when their car lost control after a tire blew out and rolled over, striking a telephone pole four miles south of Dutton on U S Highway 91. None were seriously injured, according to Highway Patrolman Ray Farrell.
