Livestock Marketing Meeting Scheduled in Teton County
A meeting for Teton county livestock men is set for Monday July 14 at 2 p.m. in the county agent’s office. Louis Vinke of the Montana Lamb Marketing Association and Prager Miller of the Federal Farm Board will present the new cattle and sheep marketing plans under the federal marketing act. The Intermountain Livestock Marketing Association and the Intermountain Livestock Credit Corporation, sponsored by the Farm Board, have been formed to market Montana livestock and provide marketing loans. A statewide meeting schedule is in progress. All cattlemen and sheepmen should plan to attend.

Loren S. Foot Dies at Helena Hospital
Loren S. Foot, father of Attorney General L. A. Foot and Assistant Attorney General Stanley R. Foot, died Sunday at St. John's hospital in Helena after several weeks there. Born in 1854 at LaPorte Indiana, he lived in Indiana Minnesota and North Dakota before moving to Kalispell in 1909. He and his wife were later separated by her death in 1912. He survived by three daughters Mabel Tiller Helena, Peter DeGroot Olney, Edgar Matheny Wilmington California, and his two sons. Services were held in Helena with Masonic members conducting before his body was shipped to Kalispell for interment.
