Gus Momberg a well known resident of Teton county died at his home on the Blackfeet reservation on December 12 1906 He was born in Kansas City November 7 1859 came to Montana in 1881 and married in Chateau in 1886 to Hon Jacob Smiths daughter He was a Woodmen of the World member and survived by a wife and a large family The funeral was held December 16 at the Methodist Episcopal church near Browning and he was interred at the Mission cemetery beside his daughter after a period of illness marked by cancer operations in Canada and Chicago"
