Helena reports that Great Falls Coach Lines Inc won the right to operate a passenger and light express line between Browning and Great Falls via U S Highway 87. The Great Northern Railroad's request for a similar line was denied, while its truck freight petition to Dupuyer was granted. Decisions include 50 other rulings by Montana's railroad and public service commission.

Sugar beet contracts signed in Fairfield district
In Fairfield on January 7, 57 beet contracts have been signed as part of the AAA sugar beet program. D. P. Thurber says majority support is strong and a January 19 deadline is set to file contracts at Thurber's Fairfield office. Planned payments include 11.7 cents per ton refund, $1 per ton for 1934 tonnage, and at least 25 cents per ton tied to sugar prices, aiming to lift beets to parity around $6.70 per ton.

Clean Up Shipment of Turkeys Next Tuesday
On Tuesday January 15 the Teton County Shipping association will conduct a clean up shipment of turkeys. Birds will be received at the American Legion pavilion in Chateau City Park with H. J. Moon of Pendroy serving as official grader. If a full carload isn’t reached, the car will be sent to other points to complete the shipment.

A replica of the 1935 Master-six coupe with streamline styling and turret top was also shown though Master-six cars not yet in dealers’ hands.
