Senator T O Larson presided as R G Linebarger acted as secretary at a Helena gathering to explain Montana voters about referendum measures Nos 33 and 34 the 3 mill educational levy and 3 million dollar building bond. Governor Erickson urged support noting ten year no tax growth and prison and hospital strain. A resolutions committee endorsed both measures and called for a state wide survey of institutional needs. Eva Hirshberg daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Hirshberg of Choteau will marry Edward Beckman of Great Falls. The ceremony is planned for February. Eva, native to Choteau, has studied at the University of California Berkeley. Beckman Bros. is the groom’s firm. The annual meeting of the Teton County Shipping association is set for 2 o clock Saturday January 18 at the county agent office in the courthouse. Officers will be elected and directors appointed with auditing committee Mau Seth Cook and Mathis to report. W W Peterson Dies in Great Falls Sunday
W W Peterson, manager of the Farmers elevator at Dutton and 1924 county treasurer candidate, died Sunday night at Deaconess hospital in Great Falls after a short illness. He lived in Great Falls. his son rushed him toward Dutton but he grew seriously ill. Survived by his wife three sons and a daughter. Funeral held this afternoon from George chapel in Great Falls.
