Teton County Selective Service Board may resign if Hutterite members are not clarified in the draft. Chairman Jess Gleason stated the board and allied boards from Toole, Glacier and Pondera have signed a joint resolution urging drastic action on a Conrad case before the national board. The Conrad board resigned after two Hutterites classified for non combatant service in 1948 have not been drafted.

PTA State Official Falls Superintendent To Speak Tuesday
Mrs. Frank Kerr state PTA vice president Helena and Robert Farnsworth Great Falls schools superintendent will speak before Chateau PTA next Tuesday night. Speeding Causes Dutton Youth Death In Auto Crash
Frank Anthony Toeckes fourteen son of Mr and Mrs Leo Toeckes of Dutton died in a car wreck on the old Collins road seven miles north of Dutton at 3 pm last Saturday. A coroner inquest ruled death from excessive speeding. Four youths occupied the car David Johnson Gary Shoemaker John Loeb and Toeckes all thrown from the vehicle. Loeb was hospitalized at Conrad and expected to recover. Sheriff A O Peterson and Dr A A McAuley assisted at the scene and the group was taken to Conrad for treatment after the crash. The funeral was held at St Williams Catholic church in Dutton. Toeckes born March 2 1936 at Great Falls lived on a farm then in Dutton for two years and was a freshman at Dutton High School active in sports and band. He is survived by his parents a grandmother Mrs Mary Waters and an aunt and uncle Mr and Mrs Harold Waters plus many other relatives.

Sister and Niece of Local Teacher Die in Auto Crash
Mrs. Alice Lonboken sister of Florence Ennis a Chateau public school second grade teacher and Janice Lonboken semi invalid daughter died in a Saturday automobile wreck twenty miles north of Carlsbad New Mexico. Aitken of Phoenix also died six hours after the crash. Burial was in Phoenix.
