Sportsmen mobilize to feed hungry birds across Montana region
The Teton County Sportsmen association and Scouts led feeding efforts during a severe cold spell, distributing roughly 2000 to 2600 pounds of wheat to ducks pheasants and other game birds. Ducks and Chinese pheasants suffered losses with up to about 50 dead along the Muddy and near Choteau. Scouts were praised for their work and farm support urged to continue feeding if able.
