Faye Annette Baker of Choteau High School earned the statewide representation in General Mills Home Maker of Tomorrow judging. She scored highest in a written exam among 10 222 senior girls and will compete for a $1500 scholarship plus a Washington Williamsburg Philadelphia trip with her advisor. State runners up get $500. The program aims to promote homemaking as a career and includes a national winner among 92 state winners.

San River Pioneer George N White Dies at 95
George N White, 95, died Friday at Teton Memorial hospital Cha teau. He lived most of his life near Augusta after moving west in 1880 and homesteading Elk Creek. A former riding partner of Charles M Russell, he bred horses and raised stock. Survived by three children and three sisters, all of Augusta, with services at Augusta Community church officiated by Rev A Bernard Grawial.

Teton county is among six Montana counties recognized for no traffic fatalities in 1955. Montana State Highway Supervisor Alex B.
