Jennie M. Green of Maquoheta Iowa formerly of Choteau rode the Empire Builder near Stanley N Oak into a blizzard. The locomotive had no steam heat or light and the train stood all night as 60 mile an hour winds battered the cars with sheets of ice and drifting snow.

Chateau Farmers Co op becomes the new name of the Teton County Farmers Mercantile association after a recent annual meeting.
