Helena 4-H Club to Attend Montana Citizenship Workshop

Michelle Horak and Robin Baquet of Dutton are selected to attend Montana’s second 4-H Citizenship Workshop in Helena February 11 to 13. Cantata Date Is Announced For Easter Presentation

Easter cantata to be presented Palm Sunday April 4 at the Chateau High School auditorium under CHS music director Lloyd Reynolds. Anyone may join the choir and attend Thursday practice sessions at 7 15 p m. Each session lasts one hour to fit with church members regular practices.

Reclassification Considered for Montana State Hospitals

Montana health facilities facing loss of Medicare certification for missing complete automatic fire sprinkler systems may be reclassified to exempt from the rule. The Health Department studies which wood frame facilities could qualify for ordinary construction status and avoid sprinklers, while SSA finalizes reclassification. A case-by-case review was urged with possible extensions and equivalency options. County Heart Fund Campaign To Be Held During February

Volunteers will call on Teton County residents throughout February for Heart Fund donations. Rainbow Girls will canvass Chateau, chaired by Marcia Curtis. Soroptimist Club handles business district solicitations led by Arnold Hanusa. County chairs include Ruth Logsdon, Nels Hemstad, John Swanson, Larry Dellwo, Malcolm Lussenden, Martin Arensmeyer, Emil Bakke, and George Morris. The Bridge for Heart tournament runs through February led by John Nesbit. Memorial bequests are handled by Jack ONeil.

Adult tickets for the district basketball tournament at Chateau High School go on sale Friday at 12 30 p m in the gym lobby. Tickets cost 6 covering all tournament sessions.
