Tom Dwyer to Handle Oliver Line at Conrad

T F Dwyer who ran the Oliver Farm Sales Equipment agency here left Monday for Conrad to handle a similar line there. Two weeks earlier he planned Dut ton but chose Conrad instead. Ernest Arensmeyer takes the local agency and will operate from A E Auto service with which he is connected.

Young Timers To Meet Here February 18

A business meeting of the officers of the Sons and Daughters of Te ton's Oldest Settlers set February 18 for the annual social gathering. The Masonic hall was chosen as the venue. Committees were named for music and hall advertising supper and guest duties with an admission price of 1.25 dollars. Each member may invite one couple, or a single partner if unpaired.

Simms Thrice Victors Over Locals Lions Club Training New Members

Teton Bounced by Simms In Three Game Rallys Friday

Teton teams faced a strong Simms scoring squad last Friday with three games showing Teton on the losing end. Ryder led Simms, pouring in the majority of points while Teton’s harmon topped locals with 10 as the high for the game. Recreation group forms in Teton County

A program committee led by Mrs E M Bammel Mrs F R Swenson and E R McLean will meet at the county agent's office to plan a yearlong program for the newly formed Teton County Recreational association The panel also plans arrangements for the next meeting on Friday March 38 Robert K Funk of Collins is the association president and named the committee

Blackleaf Matron Mrs Trisler Dies in Bynum Hotel

Mrs Steve Trisler a prominent Blackleaf matron died Friday in the Humble house Bynum from hardening of the arteries and heart trouble treated recently at Maynard hospital She homesteaded Blackleaf in 1914 later married Steve Trisler Survived by husband two sisters Mrs Steevens Great Falls and Mrs Helen Willett Shelby daughter Mrs Tom Crayon Shelby and sister in law Mrs Roderick McDonald Choteau Funeral services conducted Tuesday at the Methodist church in Bynum by Rev Edwin Dover of Chateau with burial in Bynum cemetery.

J. L. Billings Attends Sheriffs' Meeting in Helena

Sheriff J. L. Billings attended the Montana Sheriff's Association convention in Helena with about 30 sheriffs present. They supported reducing the mileage rate, backed an automobile license law, and noted progress on the canyon road with heavy steam shovel work visible from the train.

December turkey shipment nets 2218.59 in final returns

Final returns on the December shipment of turkeys by the Teton County Shipping association total 2218.49, with an advance of 1448.55 and 11 cents overall price. Prime grade adds 11 cents, choice grade seven cents, and commercials five cents. no extra for old hens or toms. January returns pending.

The Chateau's Oldest Settlers organization continues its annual gathering at the Masonic hall tonight. President Mrs. Ph I Cole leads a 7 pm dinner followed by a business meeting and dancing. The group now lists 306 members including Governor and Mrs. J N Erickson and numerous local residents.

Farm Shop School Owens With Small At tendance

The annual Smith Hughes Farm Shop School at Teton high held its first session last Saturday with a small group. Attendees included Ro Swenson Roy Hunberg Harry Stott and Ed Alzheimer and A E Munson. Initial work covered soldering and tool tempering.

FFA Clubs Broadcast From KFBB In Great Falls

Teton county high FFA boys will air on KFBB in Great Falls Saturday at 11 am. The Teton and Simms chapters cooperate with Kenneth Harmon as announcer and a vocal quartet including Gerald Stott LeMar Burke Lowry Larson War dell Moss.
