Power and Dutton Triumph in District C Basketball Contests
Power High School remained unbeaten with an 87-70 win over Geyser led by Ron Tweet 32 points and a 29-point fourth quarter. They followed with a 64-43 victory against Augusta as Tweet poured in 18 and Schaefer 16. Dutton defeated Highwood 66-36 with Elser 18 and Ulland 12, then edged Centerville 85-83 as Elser 26 and Blanchet 18 starred. Augusta fell twice, Belt beat them 62-56, despite Malatare 14 points.
