Close Shave as Dump Trucker Skids Into School Entrance
Lee Brown narrowly escaped serious harm when Robert Swortzel’s dump truck, with trailer, skidded on ice near a grade school on Seventh Ave. N.W. The trailer jackknifed, pushing the truck into Brown’s pickup, dragging him under before stopping at a tree. Brown suffered a scalp laceration but recovered to leave the hospital.
