Two Auto Crashes Probed by Highway Patrol
Highway Patrolman Ray Farrell investigated two Monday crashes caused by slick roads. Linda Hemstad of Dutton rear ended by Charles Maki of Great Falls at 9 am near Dut ton. Maki cited for driving too fast for conditions. At 4:25 pm Joseph Simpson of Augusta slid into Emil Ramsted of Great Falls at a stop sign on icy Highway 21 and Highway 287. Simpson summonsed for driving too fast for road conditions.

Adrene May Gaghagen 79 died suddenly last Wednesday in Teton Memorial Hospital after a three day illness. Funeral services were held at the Chateau Methodist Church on Saturday December 16 with Rev. C Fred Crowe officiating. Interment was in Conrad cemetery. Pallbearers were Walter W Scott Jesse Bleecker Gerald Stenson E N Colby Arthur Mitchell and Gordon Monkman. Banks Funeral Home handled arrangements. She was born April 9 1888 in Dysert Iowa to John and Amelia Gaghagen and lived in Conrad since 1910 aside from six years in Anaconda and a move to Choteau in 1959. She cooked at Conrad school for nine years before moving to Choteau. Survivors include sisters Nettie Gaghagen and Maude I Armstrong both of Choteau.

Teton Pass ski run at Mount Lockhart opens for winter weekends and holidays with six hour days. Jim Crawford of Teton Pass Inc announced modest rates for adults and students and named Chuck Blixrud manager. Road traffic will be uphill 9 11 am and downhill 3 6 pm per Forest Service rules.

Christmas Decorations Discussed At Choteau Chamber Meeting

CHS Musicians Taped for TV Radio Christmas Programs
