Heart Attack Claims Life Of W. Connole
Warren Steven Connole 47 died Wednesday morning at Teton Memorial Hospital in Chateau after a heart attack. He became ill early Wednesday and died before noon. Funeral services set for Saturday at 11 am at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Choteau with a rosary Friday evening. Connole, born May 25, 1920 in Conrad, lived in Choteau and farmed. he also drove a school bus. Survived by wife Eyvanna, children James John Betty Judy, mother Mrs. Catherine Connole, sister Mrs. Al Warneke, and four grandchildren.

Opening Weekend At Teton Pass Ski Area Pleases
The new Teton Pass ski run 30 miles west of Chateau reports perfect snow and good weather during its first weekend. Secretary Leonard Blixrud says crowds were light but satisfied with beginner and expert skiers using both slopes, tow lifts, and the chalet serving coffee and lunches.
