Final check shows 19 241 pounds of turkeys shipped by Tetor County Shipping Association beating last year's by 839 pounds. Five to ten cent advances were paid on grades with 50 growers receiving 1803 06 dollars. Prime young toms and hens accounted for 14 602 pounds, about 76 percent of total.

Bynum Child Dies in Falls Funeral Held in Chateau
Martyn June Kelly four and a half year old daughter of Pete Kelly of Bynum died at Columbus hospital in Great Falls from acute lymphatic leukemia. Funeral in St Luke's church Choteau conducted by Rev Curran with burial beside the child's mother. Survivors include three sisters and one brother, plus grandparents A Rowland Pendray.

Winter Storm Delivers Sudden Freeze Across Chateau Area
A fast moving storm dropped four inches of snow and sent temperatures plunging about 40 degrees on Saturday. By Tuesday snow depth reached six inches locally while Jack Baker’s ranch reported about three feet near the Teton mouth. Official lows neared 10 below zero and similar frigid mornings followed with a warming trend and more snow predicted for Wednesday.

Obsequies Held for Pendroy Farmer Harry L. Fuller
Funeral services were held Sunday at the local Methodist church for Harry L. Fuller of Pendroy who died Wednesday night at home of paralysis and Parkinson's disease He was 59 and is survived by his wife Ann Mary Gutshall and a foster brother Fred Slanton. Burial was in Chateau Cemetery. Rev. Edwin Dover led the service with Charles G. Roberts directing.
