Pioneer Physician Dies Tuesday in Great Falls
Dr. John H. Fairfield prominent Cascade county coroner and former Chouteau county official died Tuesday in Great Falls from a heart attack. A longtime resident since 1883 he was Great Falls’s second mayor and an early city council member. Born in Saco Missouri August 17 1856 he traced lineage to Stephen W Fairfield an early colonial immigrant.

Turkeys weighing 17,369 pounds were received by the Teton County Shipping Association for the annual Christmas drive. The day shift expected more in. last year’s total was 18,402 pounds. Harry L Fuller about 60 years old died about 10 30 last night at his Pendroy home after years of illness with paralysis. He was a farmer who resided in the Pendroy vicinity for many years. His wife and other relatives including the Shawver and Gutshall families survive. The body was taken to Roberts funeral home with funeral arrangements pending.

Teton county reports 40.2 percent of taxes due collected by Nov. 30 with $142,186.39 paid on the 1933 tax and $10,014.23 on delinquent taxes, nearly double the year prior.
