The Covered Wagon based on Emerson Hough novel and directed by James Cruze opens at the Royal Theatre for three days next Tuesday through Thursday. The film features Molly Wingate and Will Bannion in a romance set in 1849 with Indian attacks, buffalo hunt, prairie fire scenes and a large cast. Tickets are 50 cents for adults, 35 cents for high school students, and 25 cents for children.
Mrs. G. C. Core, president of the local PTA, announces the endorsement by the state federation of PTAs through its president Mrs. R. Shaffer of Lewistown of the annual Christmas seals sale under way. Mrs. Shaffer urges members and the public to cooperate with those selling the seals.
