The Montana Tuberculosis association urges readers to buy Christmas seals at a penny a share to fund 12 years of health work. It argues the program supports public health nurses, school health campaigns, and prevention efforts, benefiting all families even those with no personal health concerns.
Miss Lucie Fitzgerald spent Thanksgiving at home in Collins. Miss Dorothy Mead from Los Angeles visited her mother and friends in Collins. Hallie Ferris from Bole joined JE H Ferris for the holiday. Mr Graves and Chester Chambers shared dinner with the Petersons at Chateau. Miss Pheoda Ferris teaching at Gap school attended the community dinner and visited Aunt Waterman. A large ladies gathering at Mrs Dean Baquet’s home included a sculpture lesson by Mrs Waterman and singing led by Mrs Averill. Babies were a highlight with Mary Jane England Bok and her daughter Marie present. Bertha Fuson also attended with Fuson family.
The community held a Thanksgiving meal at the school auditorium with Mrs. Crane and Mrs. Tomsha leading songs, young readers performing, a short sermon by Mrs. Waterman, and a reminiscence by Rev. Stong. The gathering ended with expressions of gratitude and calls to boost the town, echoing a note from the Acantha.

Mrs McDuffie and Mrs Fornfeist remain in bed with flu while Mrs Fred Woodward was taken to Conrad hospital prior to Thanksgiving. Elizabeth McLean and Elvira Dascell visited Elizabeth’s home and returned to Great Falls by auto. Families met at the school house for a Thanksgiving dinner. Miles and Joe search in the mountains for lost horses. Merth Evenson led a Thanksgiving program with commendable student performances and Lita Caskey impressed with a cornet solo.
In the Ninth Judicial District of Montana Teton County a will for Charles K. Armstrong deceased has been filed for probate. Bert I. Packer seeks letters of administration with will annexed and a hearing is set for December 21 1928 at 10 AM in Chateau court. Interested parties must appear and show cause if any. Blanche M.
