Shelby Couple Injured When Trailer Detaches South of Dutton
Mr and Mrs Lester Stower were injured last Friday when their car collided with a disconnected trailer 134 miles south of roi on US Highway 91. Mrs Stower suffered multiple fractures and lacerations while Mr Stower sustained fractures dislocations and facial injuries. Their son Billy had minor bruises. Deputy Beyl and Patrolman Lehman investigated.

Claire Eugene Van Horn of Cut ter had his driver license revoked and was fined $50 after pleading guilty to drunken driving before Judge R. M. Hattersley in district court. 20 Year Sentence For Dupuyer Tavern Murder
Fred Elam of Pawhuska Oklahoma was sentenced to 20 years at hard labor after pleading guilty to second degree murder in the Dupuyer tavern death of Verlin Larson on August 17.
