The Rev A Bernard Gravdal and Hazel Carlson were wed Nov 14 at Park View Lutheran Chicago. The ceremony was officiated by Rev Martin Fretheim, with a reception for 400 guests at the church. The couple then returned to Chateau Montana after a short wedding trip.

Great Northern Conductor Dies In Chateau Train Accident
Conductor William Tobin of the Great Northern local run was fatally injured when his body was dragged under the train wheels after slipping on a wet platform near Chateau during a 6:05 PM departure. Tobin, 62, from Great Falls, had 46 years in railroad service and leaves a widow. Funeral services were held in Great Falls.

A small shipment of 5,159 pounds and 367 birds was sent Tuesday by the Teton Shipping Association. Heaviest birds were prime young toms at 613 pounds and 1,375 pounds for prime young toms, with other weights listed for hens and toms. Prices ranged 30 cents on primes, 25 cents on the choice, and 22 cents on commercials. Local growers expect a larger shipment next month.
