County Uses 735 Tax Sale Certificates Under New Moratorium
The county treasurer handed 735 tax sale certificates to the county clerk after July sales on delinquent 1926 property. With no private bidders, all parcels were struck off to the county. The moratorium law prevents assignment before December 1 1938 and permits redemption without interest or penalties, provided all delinquent taxes across all years are paid.
