Wheat deposits for 1940 insurance offered to farmers
Farmers may deposit wheat or cash on future premiums with the Federal Crop Insurance Corp to cover the next crop year. County rep F. Reid Swenson notes this lets growers prepay two years, but it is not a guaranteed underwriting. Deposits are credited as cash equivalents, with no title to the grain.

Young Man Dies in Williston After Illness
Earl Wambem aged 27 of Williston North Dakota died last Saturday at Chateau hospital after a three week stay due to pneumonia and complications. He had lived in the county about a week and worked in the Fairfield area. His mother Mrs Josephine Wambem arrived and local Masons aided in shipping the body to Williston for interment.

Miss Evelyn Mattmiller, ex home economics teacher at Teton County High, married Thomas K. Graham at St. John’s Lutheran in Helena last Thursday. She later joined Great Falls High School, a Montana State College alumna. The groom, a Boston School of Technology graduate, works as a chemist for A C M Co in Great Falls. The couple plans a Glacier National Park wedding trip and will reside at Pennsylvania apartments in Great Falls. A reception for the couple was hosted by Mrs. Charles A. Mattmiller in Helena.
