First wheat deliveries of the year reach Chateau elevators while combines cut on a few farms in Teton county. Many farmers plan to swath to dodge hail storms. Elizabeth Smith Services Set For Tomorrow
Funeral services for Mrs. Elizabeth B. Smith 79, longtime Choteau resident, will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church in Choteau with burial at Highland Cemetery, Great Falls. She died Monday from heart ailment after a year of illness. Surviving daughters Mrs Cari Malone and Mrs Jeck Baker, son Pred E. Smith, five grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren.

At the 26th Annual Baby Beef sale at the North Montana State Fair in Great Falls, 163 calves were sold last Friday.
