Funeral services for Mrs. Ada May Morris wife of Roy Morris will be at 2 p m Friday at the Methodist church in Pendroy with Rev. Bert A Powell and G L Banks directing She died Monday at her ranch eight miles east of Pendroy Her maiden name was Ada May Leeper born January 8 1888 at David City Nebraska She lived in Teton county since 1923 and with her husband resided near Claude Survivors include daughter Mrs J L Gleason Chateau son Sgt C G Jacobs at Camp Maxie Texas and brother Dave Leeper of David City Nebraska Pallbearers named O G Meadows Bob Miller Horace Baskett C Looney Ralph Lear Clyde Kristensen of Conrad She was active in the American Legion Auxiliary and other groups and leaves many friends mourning her passing.

Clinic for Crippled Kiddies in Falls May

County and city officials warn that public response to the Seventh War Loan is lagging with only about 51,000 of the 371,000 county quota raised. The Seventh drive demands a heavy push as Montana must raise 25 million dollars from individuals and 10 million from corporations. An Odd Fellows and Rebekah anniversary social is set for April 28 with dinner at 7 pm and prizes, while organizers stress the need to boost war bond subscriptions amid a low momentum period.

Clothing Drive Meeting With Success In Chateau

United National Clothing drive progresses nationwide in April and shows strong local support in Chateau. Local chairman Mrs. Vincent Ward reports generous contributions and outlines drop-off at the former Corner Store now J C Penney central depot open Mon Fri Sat 2 to 5 pm. The drive aims for five pounds per person and ends April 30 with needs for warm clean clothing and boxes and twine for packing.

All County Music Festival at County High School

The county spring music festival will be held in the county high school auditorium in Choteau at 8 15 p m Friday Apr 27. Miss Esther Groger music supervisor of the Choteau public school will direct with Mrs Arnold Hanusa as accompanist. Upper four grades from six schools expected to join a mass chorus of over 200. The program splits into a miscellaneous section and a patriotic section with Ruth Simkens reading continuity. Free admission. public invited.
