Teton High School won first place at the first annual district typewriting and shorthand contest held at Central High School in Great Falls. Great Falls took second, Havre third, with Conrad, Chinook, and Belt tied for fifth. Mary Elizabeth Forrest led junior typing with 42.4 wpm, while Margie Haugen tied for junior shorthand first with Esther White.

Sheriff Arrests Two On Grand Larceny Charge
Sheriff Wm D Reiquam yesterday arrested Al Bossilier and Guy Newman of the Dutton country on a warrant charging grand larceny in the theft a year ago of a team of horses owned by George Youland. Newman pleaded not guilty. Bossilier set for arraignment today. A prior Bossilier case was dismissed for lack of evidence. Informations are filed directly in district court by County Attorney Stanley R Foot. Additional evidence since the justice court hearing is said to exist and further developments are anticipated.

Choral Society Recital Planned At May Third Event
Thursday evening May third the Chateau Choral Society with the Fairfield Choral Society performs at the M E church under R A Keyes of Great Falls who trained both groups. Missoula April 23 Members of Iota Nu on the state university campus transferred to Phi Sigma Kappa after installation led by Arnold C. Otto of Milwaukee assisted by Phi Sigma Kappa members from Minnesota Wisconsin and Oregon agricultural college. The local chapter officers were inducted at the 1011 Gerald Avenue house with a banquet at the Florence hotel and a dance at the Elks temple. Governor Dix on former Senator Myers and J H T Ryman attended a reception for families. Charles Guthrie now phi sigma kappa member and president oversaw the new chapter as the fraternity affairs director.
