Aged rancher dead after drinking tainted oats poison
Ole Quenemoen 73, a rancher living with his daughter and son in law near Power, drank poisoned oats from a pail and died in his bed. Relatives said despondency over ill health prompted the act. Sheriff and coroner investigated. funeral set for Farmington with burial in Farmington cemetery.

Lady Luck Smiles on Boys After Auto Crash
Oliver Davis and Bert McNeil, high school students, escaped serious injury when a six cylinder roadster borrowed from Grover Forgy flipped on loose gravel two miles north of Chateau. Davis, with a broken arm, was thrown clear and unhurt. McNeil, pinned beneath, suffered only minor bruises as the car sustained heavy damage.

Latito Gets Sixty Days and Two Hundred Fine
Ralph Latito, Bole section foreman, was arrested last week and charged with illegal sale of intoxicating liquor to minors. He pleaded guilty before Judge John J. Greene and received a sixty day county jail sentence plus a $200 fine. He began serving immediately and is working on city street improvements as arranged by county and city authorities in Choteau.

Jacob Ketchejian of a ranch west of the Bynum reservoir pleaded guilty in district court to illegal possession of moonshine liquor. He was sentenced to 60 days in the county jail and fined 200 dollars. A second count for illegal manufacture was dismissed.
