Route decision set for new road around Red Lodge
The plan routes the northern highway crossing east of the Northern Pacific tracks to tie with Broadway pavement at its north end and from the south end exit through the tourist park along Rock creek to meet the surveyed line 200 feet south of West Fork road junction. Supporters cite route advantages outweighing objections.

Man Clings to Missoula Highlander Beer Relic
In Missoula, W. S. Danforth is among the few who retained real beer from the pre prohibition era. He worked in the bottling works when the state went dry on January 1, 1919 and helped preserve part of the last brewery run as relics. Danforth saved two bottles, one of which remains with the old Highlander Beer label after another was broken years ago.
