Erection of Buildings At Rodeo Grounds Proposed by Club
A delegation from the Choteau Roping Club and livestock groups asked the Choteau Chamber of Commerce to back a plan for a 40 by 60 foot show barn and a 30 by 100 foot livestock sales building at the rodeo grounds. The project, estimated at 3800 dollars with no wiring or plumbing, would use volunteer labor and aim to attract quarter horse events and future fairs.

Helena plans to extend U S 287 north from Yellowstone to Piegan and the Canadian border north of Babb. The roads and highway committee of the Helena Chamber of Commerce will meet state highway officials to discuss the plan and to post 287 signs on existing routes, including Montana 33, on future maps.
