The annual ball of Bethany Commandery Chateau drew about seventy couples for a grand march and elegant dancing. Guests included J. E. Hodgskiss and many masons with ladies in gorgeous gowns as decorations delighted attendees.

Loyalty League Formed in Choteau
A Teton county branch of the Montana Loyalty League was formed in Choteau on Wednesday evening. J. C. Morgan was elected chairman and Geo. F. Miller Jas. Eckford E. J. Hirshberg and Captain C. James Smith named committeemen. The league aims to combat anarchy revolution Bolshevism and all red flag groups seeking to overthrow our government. A. V. Hemming and R. P. Reckards of Great Falls visited Choteau yesterday.

Miss Pepple's absence has Miss Schuttler teaching hygiene and Mr Dietrich leading the normal training class. Sophomores study Julius Caesar. Promising athletes chase new vaulting and jumping records. About 12 contestants enter the declamatory contest likely around April 30.

Alexander Trughot Dies After Short Illness in Chateau
Alexander Truchot a native of Montana died at his home in Chateau after a five day influenza attack. He was executor of his late father's estate and beloved big brother to his family. He is survived by wife Mary Malone and three sons Alexander Jr Francis and George, plus mother four sisters and four brothers. Funeral at the Methodist church at 2 30 Saturday with Masonic rites.

Mrs Clarence Gilke Dies at City Hospital in April
Mrs Clarence Gilke died at City hospital from effects of influenza on April Sth. Her body was shipped to Crawfordsville Indiana for interment. Grace Anna Fruits Gilke, born June 27 1885 near Alamo Indiana, was a devoted Presbyterian and mother of four. she leaves a husband Clarence and four children Harold Daniel Kenneth Eleanor, plus parents and four brothers. She died after a patient illness uttering the words Jesus Loves Me.
