Krofft v Farmers Co operative Canal case decision rests on reservoir site
The Department of the Interior General Land Office in Washington transmits a decision to Great Falls Montana and directs Farmers Cooperative Canal Company to show cause within 30 days why Krofft’s Easement claim for a reservoir and ditch should not be granted. Krofft built parts of a reservoir and irrigation works by 1902 and alleges the canal company failed to complete its project by the May 11 1912 deadline, risking forfeiture of the easement. The report notes Krofft’s dam and dyke construction and urges action or appeal.
