T J Thompson Dies Suddenl y Here
T J Thompson manager of the Rocky Mountain elevator died Tuesday afternoon at 2 after a brief illness that began Monday. He had recently moved from Valier to Choteau and leaves a daughter Grace, wife Helen, and seven surviving siblings. He was born August 6 1875 in Cannington Ontario and was a Mason and school board president. Funeral services are being conducted.

Two Men Arrested for Violations of Gambling Laws
Undersheriff J. L. Billing arrested pool room operators Robert H. Dull of Power and Alfred Mozingo of Fairfield on charges of violating slot machine and punch board laws. Dull pled guilty before Judge J. J. Greene and paid a $100 fine. Mozingo was admitted to bail on bonds posted by F. E. Moore and D. A. DeTour.

Spring Threshing in Fairfield Section Ends
Andrew Austad and Halvor Tordal completed a two week threshing run in Fairfield just before a storm. Austad reports little grain loss from winter exposure and better prices last fall increased his wheat gains after shipping a car. They also threshed sweet clover with good results. Some bundles laid flat shelled scarcely at all.

Joe Schlack Killed in Farm Wagon Accident at Deep Creek
Joe Schlack, a well known local farmer, died yesterday near the Harry Odenwald ward place on Deep Creek. His load of hay caused the wagon to upset after the team jumped, with Schlack's injuries likely internal. Sheriff J L Collins and County Coroner Charles Conner investigated. his two sons are sought in the vicinity of Big Sandy.
