Carter Oil Co plans a spring drill near Rattlesnake Butte four miles south of Choteau in Teton County. A Carter geologist will locate the well within a week as part of a five thousand acre block including F. M. Bell holdings and Hodgskiss, Hobson and Elliot lands. Location is east of Hodgskiss Ranch between Rattlesnake Butte and the Teton River, with drilling contingent on negotiations for more acreage.

Miss Harriet Streeter and Joseph Clyde Roberts married last Friday evening in Great Falls at the Methodist Episcopal parsonage with Rev. Mecklenburg presiding. They will reside in Great Falls at the Elmore apartments. The bride, daughter of Mr and Mrs C L Streeter, was active in Choteau life before moving to Great Falls a year and a half ago. She was a Teton high school graduate in 1919 and studied at Montana State College in Bozeman.

Choteau Sees Air Route Visitors Land On Water Tank Hill
An airplane circled Choteau at dusk on Tuesday landing on Water Tank hill with Vernon Brookwater of Spokane and Joseph LaJuene of Great Falls aboard. The pilot offered 15 minute flights for five dollars and planned to return Wednesday, but left town after noon without new passengers.

Ford Leaves Grace in Nonfatal Ditch Crash
A Ford sedan driven by S. T. Wiprud left the gravel highway north of Bole last Monday night while returning from Great Falls with a car bought that day. It nosed into a ditch and sustained front-wheel and axle damage. Wiprud was unhurt. The crash occurred as he looked away from the road to check his watch for an eight o'clock Chateau appointment.

City Election Quiet With Thirty Votes Cast

Conrad Boy Dies After Skylight Fall at Butte High
Conrad Connole 15 a Butte high freshman died after falling 50 feet from the school roof through a skylight onto the gym floor during a Marian show. He and other youths had climbed the fire escape to watch the performance. Parents live at Conrad Montana and he resided with an aunt while attending school in Butte. The tragedy shocked the audience and was confirmed by hospital staff.

The T Club dance is promoted as the best of the season. Declama tory contestants have chosen pieces. Track practice is hindered by a present storm. A half holiday was given to attend church services. Miss Schimmelpreng will show Latin slides to both classes. Shorthand and typing contests will be held in Greer on Saturday April 21 with district winners advancing to state on April 28.
