Total season shipments will pass 3000 cars though exact figure unclear. Green fruit remains but there is not much setting on. fruit quality is good though smaller. Harlingen Texas May 5 Under the new standardiza tion act the shipment of cull tomatoes in bulk or packed will not be allowed. Inspectors on highways will enforce the rule. Shipments over 500 pounds must be packed in standard lug or four basket crate and marked with grade. Only U S 1 and U S 2 grades permitted. Lugs must show grade net weight shipper name and address and pack type. Four basket crates must show count in figures. Shippers contend bulk or logs flooded markets, now buyers get clearer grade and pack details.
