At Colorado Springs on September 21 the Progressive wing won a decisive convention victory after a heated debate over the initiative and referendum plank. John B. W R Rod Bryant Cheyenne pioneer and Democratic clerk of the district court nominee died at 2204 Carey Avenue after a four month illness. He was 62, a native of Ellsworth Maine, longtime Cheyenne resident, former court clerk and Wyoming Lumber Company worker. Survived by widow Mrs Bimnia Bryant daughter Mrs Cole of Billings and four sisters in Helena Denver and Livingston. Funeral plans pending relatives’ word.
