Robber Foiled by Pier Glass in Denver Bedroom
In Denver on Monday evening a burglar entered the Browns home at 909 Grant Street but was startled when a large pier glass reflected his image. Miss Alice Brown screamed, the thief escaped through an upstairs window to the ground twenty feet below, taking jewels valued around 500 dollars. Detectives hunt the unidentified man, with only two large footprints aiding the case. Some stolen pieces have been recovered from Denver shops.
