Stolen House Case Heads to Wyoming Court
In Afton on May 16 a Wyoming county court will hear the case of Alvin Alfred charged with grand larceny. He is accused of moving a house that belonged to Kelly Hamilton of Coherito, after Hamilton sold a mortgage on the land. The dispute centers on whether the mortgage covered only land or the house as well. A similar matter involved Herr Allred of Rockland Idaho, who reportedly moved a house from his promised land and faced charges in Idaho, delaying proceedings as extradition or writs are sought.
