Fre Rig Burns at Basin Injuring Two

The Big Horn Oil and Gas company rig at the Basin Grey Bull field burned after oil gushed from the Alford tract well and ignited a forge. Volunteers Give Skin for Child in Colorado Springs

A publicity appeal by doctors for Mary Harder a 5 year old Colorado City girl burned in a gasoline blast brought 80 volunteers to donate skin. The extensive grafting operation removed a square foot of skin from volunteers and was performed yesterday afternoon. The child rests comfortably and is expected to recover.
