Chamber WIl Finance Poison Campaign in County
Harry Reymore county commissioner and Laramie County Farm Bureau leader secured a $500 revolving fund from the Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce to finance rodent control this year. The loan was blocked by the county board, then approved by the chamber, with oats and poison to be bought through County Agricultural Agent Mitchell Wilkins and Reymore. Poison oats will cost about 20 cents a quart, with eight tons distributed last year on 350 farms covering 30 000 acres, saving an estimated 70 000 bushels if crops were normal.

Chamberlain bill would increase road aid funds
The Chamberlain bill introduced in Congress on February 27 proposes about 1.2 million dollars annually for four years as Wyoming's share of federal aid for cooperative road construction. It would set 100 million dollars per year for four years for joint federal and state projects and 10 million per year for forest road improvements over ten years. The measure adjusts aid to states with government land, aiming to limit state contributions in Wyoming where 63 percent of land is government owned. The article also notes the Florence Crittenden case and the transfer of Margaret Bureh to the Wyoming Children’s Home Society with a guardian appointed in Lander.
